With almost 10 years in private practice, Elizabeth “Liz” Horn is an experienced attorney admitted to practice in North Carolina and Louisiana (pending waiver into Virginia). Liz’s background is in litigation with a focus on business litigation, appellate practice, government contracts, insurance law, and commercial contract disputes.
Liz grew up in New Hampshire and then attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon. After working as a teacher in southern Massachusetts and China, she enrolled at Tulane Law School, graduating in the top 10% of her class. She first practiced with a renowned local firm in New Orleans before moving to an AmLaw 100 firm, beginning in the New Orleans office before transferring to Winston-Salem in 2022, where she still lives today.
Liz loves hiking, dogs, reading, and the outdoors. One of her favorite things about North Carolina is all the beautiful mountains, which is where you can find her most weekends.
