Maya graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in the Spring of 2019 where she double majored in Criminal Justice & Psychology. She has always had a passion for law and hopes to attend law school within the next few years.
Maya recently traveled to South Africa where she taught English and Math to students living in townships ranging from ages 6 to 18. She was also lucky to be able to participate in many excursions such as a Safari where she saw four out of the “Big Five” animals in South Africa, many beautiful (yet brutal) hikes up Lion’s Head & Table Mountain, and her all-time favorite, facing her fear of heights while bungee jumping off the largest bungee bridge in the world!
Maya speaks three languages: English, French & Arabic. Her hobbies include reading, dancing, jigsaw puzzling, listening to a wide range of podcasts, and hiking.
